NanoHive Medical Inks Distribution Pact With Accelus

Agreement further expands the allotment of NanoHive Medical’s Hive Soft Titanium interbody fusion technology.

NanoHive Medical LLC is expanding the marketing reach for its interbody fusion product portfolio.

The company has forged a U.S. distribution agreement for its Hive Soft Titanium interbody fusion devices with Accelus Integrity Implants Inc., giving both firms access to the other’s products. The Hive interbody fusion lineup provides surgeons and patients with biomechanical elastic modulus properties comparable to PEEK devices, clear and precise diagnostic imaging capability, advanced titanium surface technology which enables osteoblastic cell attraction and integration, and proprietary biologics injection ports. These features may or are designed to lead to consistently strong fusion constructs and efficacious clinical experiences.
 
“This collaboration gives surgeons access to our Hive Soft Titanium 3D printed interbody fusion technology along with Accelus’s product portfolio including their flagship FlareHawk and TiHawk Multidirectional Expanding Interbody Fusion Devices and Remi Robotic Navigation System.” said Patrick O’Donnell, president and CEO of NanoHive Medical. “We anticipate the partnership will broaden NanoHive’s market penetration to include the significant volume of spinal fusion procedures migrating from hospital in-patient facilities to out-patient and ambulatory care surgery center facilities.”

NanoHive Medical (previously HD LifeSciences), develops 3D printed spinal interbody fusion implants and instrumentation. The company is located in Woburn, Mass.
 
Accelus Integrity Implants Inc. accelerates minimally invasive spine surgery through its enabling technology. Established in 2021 through the combination of Integrity Implants and Fusion Robotics, the company is focused on providing its proprietary Adaptive Geometry technology with pragmatic and economical navigation and robotic solutions with broad clinical use in spine surgery.
